• Standard Edge: The Saltillo’s traditional square edge feature is known as the standard edge. It is most frequently found in the terracotta color range (peach to orange). It is also available in the Moreno (taupe to brown) color range. The Moreno color is gaining popularity and can be mixed with terracotta to create “iron wear.” Typically, terracotta makes up 75% of the color, and Moreno makes up 25%. When the colors are combined, a nicely proportioned, vibrant surface is produced at random.
• Shapes: Shapes consist of rectangles and pattern shapes that can be mixed and matched. The shapes all come with the standard square edge and are available in terracotta and the Moreno color.
• Rounded Edge: The edges are smoothed and rounded to give Saltillo a more modern appearance. Additionally, this tile can provide a wider grout joint. It is exclusively offered in square shapes and in terracotta and Moreno colors.
• Old Colonial: Our rustic Saltillo is the Old Colonial. The surface has been scraped and textured to provide an “Old World” appearance. It has a great feel to it and is available in squares and other shapes with square edges. It is used for interior and exterior floors and creates a nicely textured, anti-skid surface for areas with a slip factor concern. This tile is available in both terracotta and Moreno.
• Custom/Specialty: All items mentioned above can be combined in one color or more. Saltillo floors are among the most exciting flooring to design, install, and use for years because the options are unlimited. Some custom patterns are a three-sized Versailles (two squares and one rectangle), a variety of box patterns using squares and rectangles, Madera (wood look) planking borders with Saltillo tile infield, Estampado (embossed four-piece pattern), Riviera (two shapes mixed together) and others. Let your imagination run wild.
• Versailles Patterns:  With any 2 or 3 piece pattern (Examples Shown Here) consider it a custom installation additional tile sizing (cutting) may be required. Allow for additional installation time.
